Web Design & Development

Websites with a clear idea behind them.

I build custom websites that present companies, brands, and offerings clearly, professionally, and to a high standard.

For me, a good result doesn’t start with the design, but with understanding the project. What should the website achieve? Which content actually matters? And how does it need to be structured so visitors quickly understand what it’s about?

From the initial analysis through structure and design to development and launch, I guide the entire process.

Services

From idea to finished website.

Every project is different. That’s why no website is built to a fixed template.

I start by analyzing the existing presence, the brand, and the requirements for the new website. Building on that, I develop a clear structure and a visual direction that fits the company and its goals.

An existing corporate identity can be carried over and developed further. If there isn’t a clear visual direction yet, it can be defined as part of the project.

The goal is always a website that doesn’t just look good, but feels coherent and is easy to use.

01

Concept and structure

Before the design begins, a clear foundation takes shape. I analyze existing content, requirements, and potential, and use that to develop a sensible page structure. This defines early on what content is needed and how visitors are guided through the website.

02

Design and brand presence

Based on the structure, the website’s visual direction takes shape. I work from the existing corporate identity or develop it further where needed. The focus is on a consistent look, clear typography, and a design that fits the brand.

03

Development

The concept then becomes a working website. The build is responsive and optimized for both desktop and mobile devices. Subtle animations and interactions can be used deliberately where they meaningfully support the design and user experience.

04

Launch and support

After final sign-off, the website goes live. On request, I also take over the ongoing technical support afterward. That way the website stays current, reliable, and technically sound, without you having to deal with the day-to-day issues yourself.

Approach

How a project comes together.

Every project follows the same process, regardless of the client’s size or industry.

01

Analysis

At the start, it’s about understanding the company, the target audience, and the existing presence. I look at what’s already working, where the potential lies, and what the new website needs to achieve.

02

Concept

From these findings, a clear sitemap emerges, along with an initial idea of how content, pages, and navigation will be structured. This locks in the structure before the actual build begins.

03

Design

Next, a visual direction is developed that fits the company and the desired presence. Design decisions are agreed on together before the website is fully built.

04

Development

Once approved, the technical build begins. There are regular check-ins and opportunities for feedback throughout development. This allows adjustments to be made early, and the project moves step by step in the right direction.

05

Launch

Once content, design, and technology are finally signed off, the website goes live. If needed, I continue to support the website after launch as well.

Selected Projects

Selected Projects.

Two different projects with different requirements. From a large-scale association presence to a brand’s own e-commerce store.

Tennis-Verband Berlin-Brandenburg

Complex content, clearly structured.

The Tennis-Verband Berlin-Brandenburg website serves many different audiences and brings together a large amount of information, offers, and services. At the start of the project, I analyzed the existing presence and rethought the entire site structure. The goal was to make important information easier to find while creating a modern, consistent digital presence for the association. The result was a clear information architecture with easy-to-understand topic areas, direct access to key services, and a design that carries through consistently across the whole site.

My own background in competitive tennis also let me bring a lot of requirements and user perspectives from firsthand experience.

Close Call Clothing

E-commerce meets brand world.

Close Call Clothing needed more than a standard online shop. The website had to sell products while also carrying the brand’s personality. Tennis, streetwear, storytelling, and e-commerce all needed to come together into one cohesive digital presence. From the visual direction to the shop’s structure, the site was consistently thought of as part of the brand. Products, imagery, content, and brand story interlock to create a presence that stands clearly apart from a typical sports shop.

Support

Even after launch.

A website isn’t automatically finished once it goes live. You don’t just get a finished website from me and then get left to figure it out on your own.

On request, I continue to look after the website technically afterward: regular checks, updates, and small adjustments so everything keeps running reliably and stays up to date.

That way you don’t have to worry about the technical side and can focus on your business.
