Alongside professional tennis, I have built my own companies and projects. I am particularly interested in ideas that come from personal experience and can grow into real products, brands or services.
Close Call Clothing and UServe have grown out of this as two different projects. More projects will follow.
Close Call Clothing came from the wish to take the feeling of tennis beyond the court.
Tennis stands for individuality, precision and mental strength. Every player develops their own style, their own presence and their own way of handling pressure.
Close Call Clothing translates exactly these elements into streetwear for people who identify with tennis, even off the court.

Why tennis?
Tennis means far more to me than sport. It combines physical strain, mental strength and personal expression in a very direct way.
The one-on-one, the constant confrontation with my opponent and with myself, and the mix of elegance, dynamism and strategy make the sport unique to me.
These qualities shape not only my game, but also my idea of how a tennis brand can look and feel.

Quality is the foundation of Close Call Clothing. Production takes place within the EU, in Portugal, with a commitment to high standards, clean craftsmanship and transparent production.

Starting at Mississippi State University, I transferred to the University of North Florida, where I completed both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees. My time as a college tennis player was among the most formative and best of my life.

ATHLETIC
We want to pass on the experience we gained ourselves as college tennis players in America. It is important to us to support you in all athletic aspects of college tennis. Our expertise remains available to you even after a successful placement. We are happy to answer your questions about tournament planning, athletic training and the step into professional tennis. Our doors and our knowledge are always open to you.
ACADEMIC
What should I study, which courses should I take, will my degree even be recognized in Germany, and do I have to start right after the Abitur? We asked ourselves all of these questions before and during our time at college. We advise you on your personal choice of major and course selection and answer all relevant questions about the academic side of studying. You can count on our support at any time.
PERSONAL
New experiences bring a lot of new and unfamiliar things. We are there for you with any personal concerns and questions, whether before you go to college, while you are there or once you are back home. We have been through the process of living alone for the first time, exploring unfamiliar surroundings and getting to know new people and cultures ourselves. We always have an open ear for you and are happy to share our own earlier concerns and difficulties and how we ultimately overcame them.
